Jennifer Paloma Rafferty – Increasing Access Engagement & Learning with Universal Design
Presentation Description:
Today’s student population is diverse and their needs vary greatly. A one-size-fits-all approach to course design and instruction inevitably creates barriers for students and it impacts their engagement and learning. Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a design and delivery framework that promotes access and inclusion and takes into account that students learn differently. Come join us in this session to learn about the UDL framework and discover strategies that provide options for students as they engage with course content and demonstrate learning in the online and blended classroom.
